jus came across some nasheeds of ahmed bukhatir translated in english.....as some brother and sisters do not understand arabic....
Jerusalem is calling us (Al Qudsu Na Deena)
Jerusalem, you are our hope
Jerusalem will return to our nation
We will purify your virgin ground
And will run up on you our flags
Have patience sons of Palestine
Allah will relieve our agonies
Jerusalem will return to be our home
And will return to be our country
The dark night will never come
Except the dawn follows it with its brightness
Ramadan
Ramadan has came and fasting has begun
Bringing joy to everyone at all times
Glorifying Allah, pious, submissive
Muslims, faithful and worshipping Allah
It’s our month of fasting, liberty and honest piety
Our day is of patience with tears of fears
It’s the body of reformation
It is prevention from obscenity
It paves the way for forgiveness, its morals is a dressing purity
My brother in Islam
Don’t kill your sound heart
And avail of Ramadan, the month of benevolence
As long as you are living.
Oh who see! (Ya Man Yara)
Oh! who see the mosquito spread its wings
In the darkness of the black night
And see its vein in its upper chest
And the brain in these thin bones
And see blood running in its jugular vein
Moving from one joint to another
Forgive me
For what I have previously done
And see the embryo nurturing inside it
In the darkness of its innards without looking
And see its footsteps
In its quick and rushing movements
And see and hears other beings
In the bottom of the dark and huge sea
Forgive me
For what I have previously done
Oh Eid! (Ya Eid)
Oh Eid! you are a gift from our creator God
You excite in us the joy of eager
You bring us together with our relatives and friends
You overwhelm us with mercy like a streaming well
It’s our habit to visit people so kindly
No hatred, no bitter feeling, no arrogance at all
Getting up by your greatening the generous and every disobedient
And the couple may return hugging
The disputers may reconcile
And the children joy, many fly into the horizon!
Overwhelmed by happiness at home and the markets
The children and the adult are in such a race
Joyful with what is like the kohl in the eyes
Seizing a tasty opportunity
May Allah maintain their happiness
And make us always meet
Do not separate us as separation is bitter
Oh Most Magnificent! (Ya Adeeman)
My soul is brightened by a light in my heart
When I praised God of mankind
And my soul is cheered up and the tears were flowing
Oh God! guide my heart to reason
In the tranquility of the night I pray during worshiping
While the black darkness is all around me
Oh Kind! Oh Most Merciful! Oh Most Forbearing!
Oh Kind! Your gifts are endless
Oh All-Hearing! Oh Answerer! Oh Most Magnificent!
Oh Creator of the strong predatory animals! Guide me
Guide me to truth, God
I depend on your guidance today
Oh God of the universe! you are my aid
You are the refuge of man in the afterworld
Here I am God, asking your forgiveness
Forgive me and grant me my wish
Long Longing (Taweel As Shawq)
A Longing person remains in alienation
He has no friends in life
Who trust the world of misfortunes
You trample on fellows in the dust
I wonder at the one who wants you while he knows
That you are the strangest of creation
Except for the beautiful meaning that I have
I would not have stayed in it
I found Allah, God of the Universe
All the creatures love him
There are many evidences that he is the One
Despite the false arguments
Contemplate on the Most Merciful abilities
You will be guided to truth
Look everywhere
Your question will be answered
Shift from earth shades
Do not ever be deceived by mirage
Stand on the graves, it’s a memory
That you will thank and then you will forget
Recite tones of Koran
Reward will keep you away from punishment
Follow a guide wise prophet
Rays of wisdom from everywhere
Zayed the Benevolent (Zayed Al Wafaa')
May your day for the nation be of sincerity!
May your love for earth be lasting!
You are like a pen that expresses us
You built glory like strong mountains
You inspired the nation to be benevolent
May you have a long life as you achieved the nation’s wishes
Zayed the benevolent, ask about him in the north,
South, highlands and lowlands
You unite people, since we have known you
You love all people not individuals
Through the gulf and oceans they’ve known Zayed
They have known Zayed for his spreading generosity
For all the glory we had
Without you we would have never been united
wanna share his more lyrics in english...post here inshAlah.....

Ghuraba - The Strangers
Ghurabaa`, ghurabaa`, ghurabaaa` ghurabaa`
Ghurabaa`, ghurabaa`, ghurabaaa` ghurabaa`
Ghurabaa` do not bow the foreheads to anyone besides Allah
Ghurabaa` have chosen this to be the motto of life
Ghurabaa` do not bow the foreheads to anyone besides Allah
Ghurabaa` have chosen this to be the motto of life
If you ask about us, then we do not care about the tyrants
We are the regular soldiers of Allah, our path is a reserved path
If you ask about us, then we do not care about the tyrants
We are the regular soldiers of Allah, our path is a reserved path
Ghurabaa`, ghurabaa`, ghurabaaa` ghurabaa`
Ghurabaa`, ghurabaa`, ghurabaaa` ghurabaa`
We never care about the chains, rather we'll continue forever
We never care about the chains, rather we'll continue forever
So let us make jihad, and battle, and fight from the start
Ghurabaa`, this is how they are free in the enslaved world
So let us make jihad, and battle, and fight from the start
Ghurabaa`, this is how they are free in the enslaved world
Ghurabaa`, ghurabaa`, ghurabaaa` ghurabaa`
Ghurabaa`, ghurabaa`, ghurabaaa` ghurabaa`
How many times we remembered a time when we were happy
In the book of Allah, we recite in the morning and the evening
How many times we remembered a time when we were happy
In the book of Allah, we recite in the morning and the evening
Ghurabaa`, ghurabaa`, ghurabaaa` ghurabaa`
Ghurabaa`, ghurabaa`, ghurabaaa` ghurabaa`
Ghurabaa` do not bow the foreheads to anyone besides Allah

The Prophet SAW said "Islam began as something strange, and it will return as something strange the way it began. So Tooba for the Strangers"

Ahmed Bukhatir - Forgive Me
Today, upon a bus,
I saw a girl with golden hair.
And wished I was as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and wore a crutch.
But as she passed, she smiled.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two legs the world is mine.
With feet to take me where I `d go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.
I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it `d do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me,
"I thank you, you've been so kind.
You see," he said, "I `m blind"
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two eyes the world is mine.
With feet to take me where I `d go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.
I saw a child with eyes of blue.
He stood and watched the others play.
He did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
"Why don't you join the others, dear?"
He looked ahead without a word.
And then I knew. He couldn't hear.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two ears the world is mine.
With feet to take me where I `d go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine

One of my favourites...
Ahmed Bukhatir - The Veil (Al Hejab)
Let’s them say about my veil
That it’s killing my youth
Let’s them exaggerate in blaming me
I belong to Religion
No, I swear I would never care
My firm will is like the mountain
What is meant by beauty
If it is easy to get
They tried to deceive me
I shouted at them to leave me
I will remain in my decency
I will never accept impudence
They will never affect my pride
I am the symbol of purity
I walk in the light of piety
Behind the best prophet
I have a proud soul
That rejects lowliness
In my path, brother
Somaya is the ideal
I am guided by Religion
Our source is pure, sister
Our path is a path of chastity
Follow it without fears
Our Religion is symbol of virtue
It never accepts vice
You are the respectable daughter of Religion
You are the descendant of notables
By my veil and decency
I impose my self-respect
I will go ahead
And never care about blames

Another good one...
Ahmed Bukhatir - Fartaqi
Advance in goodness and rise to the horizon
Sublimity wanted from Muslims
You are the symbol of pearls and glories
Abandon the mud and rise to the sky
You will never see a night without a star
Run up the flags and go ahead
Light the lamp and be determined
Overcome the terrors however dark they are
Always advance by your firm will
Be a mole and symbol for people
Who seeks glory and sheds tears
Under the cover of dark night
Or raises dust in the enemy’s face
Heaven has perfect magic
Always advance by your firm will
And be like mole and inspirational symbol for people

One about the Qur'an...
Ahmed Bukhatir - The book of Allah (KetabAllah)
This Koran unites us
It guides us to the path of goodness
Almighty Allah revealed it
And his prophet is our teacher
This Koran is the guide for our grandfathers and grandsons
It motivates to knowledge and work
Nothing except it edifies us
It’s the book of Allah
Nothing except it edifies us
Let us follow it
It’s the greatest miracle of Allah
It tells us about the secret of universe
All mighty Allah revealed it
And his prophet is our teacher
Let us follow its rules Let’s go on Arab

u mean last breath sis ^
here:
LAST BREATH
From those around I hear a Cry,
A muffled sob, a Hopeless sigh,
I hear their footsteps leaving slow,
And then I know my soul must Fly!
A chilly wind begins to blow,
Within my soul, from Head to Toe,
And then, Last Breath escapes my lips,
It's Time to leave. And I must Go!
So, it is True (But it's too Late)
They said: Each soul has its Given Date,
When it must leave its body's core,
And meet with its Eternal Fate.
Oh mark the words that I do say,
Who knows? Tomorrow could be your Day,
At last, it comes to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, Do NOT delay!
Come on my brothers let us pray
Decide which now, Do NOT delay!
Oh God! Oh God! I cannot see!
My eyes are Blind! Am I still Me
Or has my soul been led astray,
And forced to pay a Priceless Fee
Alas to Dust we all return,
Some shall rejoice, while others burn,
If only I knew that before
The line grew short, and came my Turn!
And now, as beneath the sod
They lay me (with my record flawed),
They cry, not knowing I cry worse,
For, they go home, I face my God!
Oh mark the words that I do say,
Who knows, Tomorrow could be your Day,
At last, it comes to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, Do NOT delay !
Come on my brothers let's pray
Decide which now, do not delay ....
ooo forgiv me makes me cry
