Conference.

Bridge a gap between liberals and conservatives, old and the young. The generational and ethical gaps amongst today's rival groups is really simple and I really think a conference would help set things straight.

Your suggestions would sound trivial to some people, but they fail to understand how important joking around and smiling are in 'building bridges'. Making people laugh puts everyone at ease and is an excellent ice breaker. On a personal level, everyone needs to be friendly and understanding. This is not necessarily easy, but it is essential. In Islam we're told to be nice and kind people, so it needn't be so difficult, eh? :D

On a public level, like Dahir said, we need more conferences, or 'inter-faith meetings' or whatever you call them, which aren't adversarial in nature, but rather are discussions leading to a point of agreement - or indeed to a point where we can agree to disagree, but at least find some way of peacefully co-existing.
