If it is not the same as below:
What does "Alwockhul-ahn asa-ah athaniyah" mean?
Can you give me a word for word translation?

yeh maalik = owner singular
malik = king singular
malaak = angel singular
intereting regarding baani... sounds like posessive verb.. like "he is the builder of that palace" (huwa baani tilkal qasr)... whereas bannaa is like a title, 'huwa bannaa' (he is a builder).

^ ash'3ath means 'dirty'... or 'worn out'...
it comes from teh hadith
"can you imagine someone who is ash'3ath and aghbar (wornout and *********) making dua, but his earning is from haram, his food is from haram, his home is from haram, so how will it be that his dua will be accepted from him?"
(that's just the gist of the meaning of the hadith.. dont quote me!)
now the question is.. what does 'aghbar' mean ;)
tc salams :)

That part I quoted is the context lol... kh and gh are very different... i don't think either has an English equivalent lol.
