Gaza - Four Palestinian citizens were killed and seven others were wounded Friday night when armed men affiliated with the "mutiny trend" in Fatah faction under Mohammed Dahalan's command attacked Al-Hedaya Mosque in Gaza city with hand grenades and RPGs, Palestinian eyewitnesses affirmed.

In a telephone interview with the PIC, one of the eyewitnesses asserted that the at least 10 masked men armed with RPGs and hand grenades stormed the Mosque during the Ishaa (night) prayer and fired at worshipers killing two of them and seriously wounded 9 others, including the Imam of the Mosque among others.

He added that the injuries were very critical; yet, he added, it was difficult to rush them to the hospitals because elements of PA preventive security forces, which Dahalan founded and still maintains influence over, sealed off the area and prevented ambulances to reach the wounded people inside the Mosque for almost twenty minutes.

Two of the wounded, including Imam Zuhair Al-Mansi, a well-known reform figure in Gaza city, succumbed to their wounds moments after they arrived to the Quds and Shefa hospital, according to Palestinian hospital sources.

The PIC furthermore quoted Palestinian security forces and eyewitnesses as affirming that vandals from the "mutiny trend" committed another heinous crime in Khan Younis city, killing two-year-old Palestinian infant Yahya Abu Bakra who was in a picnic with his family Friday.

In Nablus city, seven Palestinian teenagers were kidnapped at the hands of armed men affiliated with the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, armed wing of Fatah, and believed to have tight links with the Dahalan's "mutiny trend".

The kidnappers alleged that the seven were activists of Hamas, but Hamas and local sources in the city denied the allegations, saying that the seven teens were students memorizing the holy Koran.

The factional coordination committee in the city called for an emergency meeting to be able to contain the incident and defuse tension, and to secure the safe release of the seven teens immediately as Hamas announced high alert status amidst it ranks to block the hooligans.

Another Hamas political leader Iyad Lutfi Abu Salah, 33, was shot and wounded in Tulkarem city with bullets fired by elements of the Fatah's "mutiny trend" just after he finished his Ishaa prayer. Tension ran high in the city after the incident as hundreds of enraged Hamas supporters gathered in the hospital's plaza in extreme disgruntlement. A number of Hamas figures in the West Bank were targeted by those armed groups, which are widely believed to be privately financed by Dahalan.

Hamas' spokesman in Gaza Strip Ismael Redwan, for his part, affirmed that the bloody incidents in Gaza Strip and the West Bank over the past 24 hours reflect the milestones of the USA-Israeli conspiracy to sow divisiveness among Palestinians, to overthrow the Hamas-led PA government, and to revert against the democratic will of the Palestinian people.

He, in this regard, urged "prudent" figures in Fatah to bridle elements of that "mutiny trend", asserting, "We say to our brethren in Fatah that our battle is not with you, but it is against the Israeli occupation government and the IOF troops as we still have a lot of national issues before all of us that oblige all Palestinian factions to work together in confronting them, including the issue of Jerusalem and the apartheid wall".

Hamas Movement, meanwhile, warned heads of the "mutiny trend" that they will be fully responsible for any unwarranted repercussions that might result out of their "heinous" crimes against the Palestinian people.

"It became clear that a group of suspicious figures in the Palestinian arena unpleased with the ongoing national unity talks in Gaza city have opted to go against the Palestinian national interests, and started killing worshipers in mosques, and kidnapping innocent citizens", Hamad explained.
