Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatulaah

Welcome to the forum :)

"Indeed! God does not forgive the sin of ascribing partners to Him, but He forgives anything else to whom He pleases, and whoever takes partners with God has gone astray into far error".Qur'an (4:116)

“Say: O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (because of sins), do not despair from the mercy of Allaah. Verily, Allaah forgives all sins. Verily, He is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” 4 Surah Az-Zumar: 53

Salaah is very important Ya Muslim. Open the book of Allah and read what He says:

“Guard strictly (five obligatory) As‑Salawaat (the prayers) especially the middle Salaah (i.e. the best prayer ‑ ‘Asr). And stand before Allaah with obedience [and do not speak to others during the Salaah (prayers)]”[al-Baqarah 2:238]

“Verily, As‑Salaah (the prayer) is enjoined on the believers at fixed hours”[al-Nisaa’ 4:103 – interpretation of the meaning]
The five daily prayers wipe out sins, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do you not think that if there was a river at the door of any one of you, and he were to bathe in it five times each day, would there by any dirt left on him?” They said, “No dirt would be left on him at all.” He said, “That is the likeness of the five daily prayers, by means of which Allaah erases sin.”

Allah says:

“Recite (O Muhammad) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur’aan), and perform As‑Salaah (Iqaamat‑as‑Salaah). Verily, As‑Salaah (the prayer) prevents from Al‑Fahsha’ (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse) and Al‑Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed)”[al-‘Ankaboot 29:45]

“(And remain always) turning in repentance to Him (only), and be afraid and dutiful to Him; and perform As‑Salaah (Iqaamat‑as‑Salaah) and be not of Al‑Mushrikoon (the polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah)[al-Room 30:31]

“And seek help in patience and As-Salaah (the prayer) and truly, it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khaashi‘oon [i.e. the true believers in Allaah — those who obey Allaah with full submission, fear much from His punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise) and in His Warnings (Hell)].[al-Baqarah 2:45]

The salaah is our link with Allah. Do not break it.

Brother, your past sins will be forgiven. If you have the right intentions, believe in one and only God; Allaah, and have faith in Allaah and last messenger prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and prayer regularly you will be forgiven inshallah. I used to be like you about almost year ago, I turned my life, I never actually believed in Allaah and questioned its existance, but now allhamdulillah I am a better Muslim than I was year ago. If you need help; feel free to ask me  . Take care brother, don't fall under shaytaan's tricks it will be very difficult for you, but if you work at it, you will prevail inshallah.

MashaAllah h4x3r, you are definitely on the right track. May Allah guide you inshaAllah. Ameen.

Let us know if you found the links helpful inshaAllah. It's also a good idea to go and pray in congregation at your local mosque. You can ask the imaan to help you with what you need to know.

How to Pray

Whichever one you feel comfortable with, because remember that salaah [the 5 daily prayers] is one of the most important pillars of this faith.

Allah the Exalted says in the quran " the best of you are those who make mistakes and repent" and " Allah is the most merciful"

Masha'Allah... You're in my duas brother. :)

Just make sure you carefully read through those links, ok? At first it may seem much to remember and stuff, but Rome wasn't built in one night anyways, so be patient and keep practising.
Masha'Allah, I love to hear of young men and women, wanting to practise the Deen.

May Allah (swt) bless and guide you. Ameen.

Selam aleykum brother
I'm glad to see you're trying to turn your life around, as previous said, if you show remorse (feel bad and ask for fogiveness with sincerety) and try hard not to repeat your sins then inshaAllah you will be forgiven.
since you refer to prayer as namaz instead of salah I suppose you are turkish, right? :p
Here, you might want to try this site:

Feel free to ask follow up questions as the site might not be 100% clear
(btw I'm not turkish so I only understood the English parts) :)

loq. In my family we also say namaz. Are you bro Turkish? If so, I could search for Turkish links for you, insha'Allah.

In this site you can learn how to recite some surahs, masha'Allah, it has helped me very much:
