I see a few post saying G-D and some saying GOD.

is there any difference b/w these two ways of expressing ?

Jew's use the word G-D so that the name does not get erased, when a post or a thread gets deleted.

We use the word GOD out of convinience.

I said it is a Jewish believe. They spell it like that so the God name does not get erased, deleted.

Like somone comes and deletes this whole thread, than the "words" you wrote vanishes.

According to their belief it is a sin.
