If anyone has the time and just wants to check these over with me, I have done the first one.

Just want to make sure I am making no mistakes, I check the way I read it with brothers, but maybe yall here might correct me in something they didn't.

Hadith 1:

An Amir Al Mu'minina Abi Hafsin Umara Ibni Al Khattabi Radi Allahu Anhu Qal:

Samie'tu Rasula Allahi Salla Allahu Alayhi Wa Sallama Ya Qul:

It would be incorrect if you broke up the words like that, so it should be read in one go like this :

Maybe I said it wrong, when I pronounce it I dont pronouce it with he breaks.

As you said for example,#

Rasulullahi Sallallahu

I wouldnt say Salla Allahu, id say it like u said it.

Curious about a couple of things, Binniyaati, why is it ti and not ta?

Likullim Ri Im

Thats how I pronounce it, but I thought that'd be wrong, because I dont get where the Alif goes?

Yes but it's also written that way, if you look at the Arabic words carefully you will see that there are no separate Harakaat on the words 'Allah' in Rasululllahi Sallallahu, and so that indicates that they are to be pronounced together as one........you get what i'm saying?

format_quote Originally Posted by Al Habeshi

It's a grammatical ruling, the letter 'Baa' which comes in front is what you call a 'Harf Jarr' and whenever it precedes a word (except for a few exceptions) the following word has a Kasra

format_quote Originally Posted by Al Habeshi

It's another one of those little rules in Arabic which was devised to make talking it easier. Because the Harakah on the Laam of 'Likulli' is Kasra, and the Harakah on the Alif of 'imri'm' is Kasra, it's just merged.

If you were to say : Likulli Imri'm (stopping between the two 'I's) it would be more heavier upon the tongue than if you were just to say 'Likullimri'im'

And so that's why the Alif becomes like invisible and it just jumps on to the Meem.

It's not confusing really! You just have to stop putting Harakaat where there are none lol because there isn't any on that Alif before Imri'im is there?

I think it would be better letting people read the hadiths in arabic cuz the transliteration of a text is very far from its original form and can't be spelled exactly as it should.

Allahu alem.

^ Yes but then there are so many people who cannot read Arabic so transliteration is the next best thing.

Although I deffo agree that it comes out sounding real different.

Arabic is not too hard, I manage to read abit and I aint even had a teacher, I need a teacher to teach me all the technicalities.

I try not to use translitereation beucase I need to get used to reading the arabic letters, else I'll never become Fluent.

Sister Mawaddah, if I do hadith number 2 will you check it for me?

Well originally it was 'Imri in' but then since there is a Meem which comes after the tanween, it merges into one.....another one of those ' to make the word lighter on the tongue' kind of things :)

In the word "Ilaa" the last letter isnt a "yaa" ي, but it's an "alif Maqsuurah" ى .. this letter here looks like a yaa but is pronounced as an alif.

So it'd be : Ilaa'.. instead of : Ilayy... you get it?

& please correct me if im wrong ppl.

Write it as Ta

I wouldn't advise you to write it as 'Da' For transliteration as it'll be extremely confusing

There are two words:

"In" ان & "Istada'ta" استطعت ..

when pronounced .. you join the two words together so it's said like:

Inis-ta'da'ta.

hope you understood?

And yes the reciter is pronouncing the Hamza, but it's because the Hamza comes straight up against an Alif (beginning of the other word) so you dont really hear it, as the hamza and the alif sound the same, in other words, the Hamza and the Alif has become as one sound.

Masha'allah Bro, it's done now.
