28th March - MPAC, Not Enough - Press Release

Empowering Muslims, as our aim we feel that we must do everything we can to empower Muslims through productive methods. This brings us onto an organization that goes by the name of MPACuk. This organization claims to be Muslim Public Affairs Committee, but in effect they have just complained and not actually helped Masjids in improving there services, or helped empower women. MPAC are a shameless organization that have not helped Muslims, only by there constant complaining and shouting have they got publicity, and it's all bad publicity.

We have seen there document on Mosque reform, we also saw some unproductive video footage of MPAC doing what they seem to only be doing, shouting and screaming. Some of them are claiming that they are the ones that started the whole mosque reform idea, what they don't realize is that anyone can put together a little plan of what needs to be changed, people have been discussing this years before MPAC was even established. It's actually doing it and helping the mosques which needs to be concentrated on. MPAC have done nothing but complain, as typical politicians they will talk the talk, but they won't walk the walk.

It is high time someone steps in and shows what helping the Muslim community is all about, it is about empowering the Muslims, through trade, media, education and Islam. By providing real services, by supporting Masjids with the man power, with the technology and skills. Providing documentation for them on guidelines, how to setup Madrasahs with a syllabus & More.

All of these projects can be seen on http://masjidi.org

We hope that Masjids will use this opportunity to register there Masjid with us and join us.

You can register your Masjid for free, email chairman@masjidi.org - provide all the details for your Masjid, the requirements of the website, and inshaAllah we will contact you as soon as we can.

Just a question

1. MPAC are Muslims, so is it even right for us to be talking like this about them?

It's criticism of an organisation, all organisations are allowed to be criticised. Individuals however are a different matter.

You got that from a scholar right?

Also, one thing am confused about, there are lot of people who can say things, but, what maybe would be better and more convincing is if you spoke to the imams and chairs of the masjids and then through them asked their community to help.

I mean there are many organisations, so to help maybe that would be a way forward, otherwise I dont know about others but I'd just feel, well this oraganisation is just like any other.
