How to do Qayam Al Lail ( Night Prayers)

Assalamolaikum Brothers n Sisters

There is a very easy way of Qayam Al Lail. Ofcourse you all know the benefit and rewards of this late night prayer. It is one of the best prayers that a muslim can perform in order to get closer to Allah.

The first thing to do is to wake up an hour before fajar prayers. This time is the Saher time of night which is the best part of night to perform prayers.

You can then divide this one hour before fajer prayers into 4 parts, each consisting of 15 minutes. You can spend it as follows:

The first 15 min: Reading any part of Quran, as you wish

The second 15 min:Praying 4 nafel raka'at (tahajjud), in 2s with 2 salams and also praying the 3 witr prayers of isha

The third 15 min:Making Du'aa, and remmember that this is the most rewarded time of du'aas as Allah Subhana wa ta'ala says that during this time the worshipper's plea (du'aa) shall not go unheard.

The forth n last 15 min: Do Astaghfaar,Ask Allah for forgiveness.

So let us all try to get nearer to Allah through this one hour. It will make us spiritually, religiously strong n bring us closer to Allah.

Allahu Akbar

MashAllah! JakaakAllah Khair for sharing it to us!

Allah Most High said, “Establish worship at the going down of the sun until the dark of the night, and (the recital of) the Qur’an at dawn. Lo! (the recital of) the Qur’an at dawn is ever witnessed. And some part of the night awake for its recital, as voluntary worship for you. It may be that your Lord will raise you to a praised estate.” [Qur’an, 17: 78-79]
