My net stays on throughout the day as does my MSN account. I actively surf around 4 hours a day (spread out throughout the day).

Yes, too many people do spend too much time online.

This question is so definite.

Alright here let me give you give an example, when you eat noodles do you count how many noodles you slurp in? Similarly, when you read or write, do you count how many words you've read or wrote? When you chat with someone online, do you count how many lines you've wrote to them? Likewise, when USA builds its nuclear weapons, does it count how many missiles it has built? (OOps, did I say that out loud) J/K

Anyway, my point is that when you are engaged in these activities, we don't count how much time we spend on them. We simply enjoy it. (Atleast that is is the case with me)

probably an average of 4-5 hours a day.
yes, i think most people, (who can) including me, probably spend too much time on the web.
but much more important i think is how do you spend your time on the web.

Time is precious...Some people *coughmyselfcough* find that hard to realise.

Although, alhamdulillah I'm always listenning to the Quran so all that time I'm on the computer is not wasted and it helps me in my hifz :)

i try to be as judicious while using the internet as i can.so,its usually once a week.spending excessive time online can have the same effects as that of watching excessive television.
