Remember my other post about making takbir after I've already stood up from the second sujud?

Well, out of forgetfulness, I did it today during maghrib (which was a few minutes ago over here) and as soon as I remembered it (which was in between halfway up and standing up) i said the takbir. But I didn't know what to do, so I did a prostration of forgetfulness before the taslim.

Does anyone know if I did the right thing or if I should repeat my prayer?

Isha-prayer starts in about half an hour, so I'll go ahead and repeat my prayer insha'Allah, to be on the safe side.

But maybe someone can inform me, so I know til' next time insha'Allah.

As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatu Allah:

Insha Allah akhee this makes the question easier to answer. I have given you the link to the E-book The Prostration of Forgetfulness by Sheikh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaimeen.
