New, hope I can learn.

Salam Alaikom to all my Muslim brothers and sisters and hello to any of my brothers and sisters in humanity. I came here hoping to learn about Islam. I have just begun studying. I am a born Muslim, but my family is secular and never pray or give zakat, etc. I just learned how to make salah from a helpful brother on another forum. I want to learn as much as I can. Maybe go to a masjid, but I feel too nervous to go by myself and there are no Muslims around where I live. I was hoping I could learn from my bros and sisters here until I get enough knowledge to start going to the masjid or Islamic center myself.
