I hear about MSA's all the time, how did they originate? Are there any equivalents to them in the UK? Is it in every college in the US or do you have to get permission or something to create one?

Any info. on them would be useful inshaa Allaah. Jazaak Allaah khayr in advance.

MSA's are Muslim Student Associations created throughout High Schools, Colleges and Universities in the U.S. its a place where Muslm's and Non-Muslim's come together in order to better understand one another and to do various community based events.

Usually in order to create a MSA you have to go to either the Student run government or to the Dean of Student Services to request to make the MSA.
