I have been recording stuff then changing it from WMA or RM to MP3 the only problem is that the mp3s I download already made are for example 900 Kb but then a recording which I then change to mp3 of the same length ends up 11MB

What am doing wrong?

Try changing the bit rate to something lower when converting like, 96 or 128..

so you change MP3 back to MP3 and it goes from 900kb to 11mb??sounds like magic to me lol

RM files are not so good quality but mp3's are better quality so it means they'll bigger size.

Use this converter ---> http://www.koyotesoft.com/dlEn.php?t...3Wma_Converter

^^ Basically, just fill it in with anything...and then you can proceed to download it.

If you want some super compression (but remember that the quality won't be top notch...but bearable) then do this setting: MP3 16,000 kHz; Mono; 16 Kbps

If you need more compression...then lower the bitrate and stuff. Just PM me or something if you find things difficult.

I have a recording studio programme thing I used that to make an mp3 of the big size mp3 and then changed the bit rate to 16 or somethin and it came out short. Although there were other buttons I had to fiddle with too.

^^ Well sorry Brother, I don't know what's going down with that. How about this solution? --> Just save it as a big MP3 file with the recording program, then just use the software to compress it?

Hope it helps. :-\
