Just curious what occupation you were in e.g. student, engineer, teacher doctor, imam.

I work part time as a civil servant and the rest of the time I buy, develop and sell properties.

I'm a student too, just finished year 9. I don't know what Americans call it.

I work in my parents shop but I don't get payed. It's not even voluntary. Come to think of it, I'm forced to do it! Ah well, I don't mind really.

I'm an English teacher.

In fact, my job pretty much got me interested in Islam, because I've taught English to many Muslim students, from countries such as Turkey, Oman, Bangladesh, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Anything I can learn about Islam is of great help in understanding the cultural background of my students.

I am self employed within IT, specialising in e-mail systems. My work took me to Pakistan to setup a call centre for a UK based company, it was my time in Pakistan that brought me to a muslim forum.
