I have a question:
When I go to pray jummah prayer, on fridays, and the Imam reads the khutbah, Majority of the muslims (sunni) im talkin bou, would put there hands in the postion of when praying, (under the belle button & and then on the knees). But this isnt exactly namaaz. It is a sermon.
So do you have 2 do this when you hear the khutbah being read, if so any evidence? If any dont understand what i mean then ask me?
Jazakalh

This is not necessary to sit like this.
And you can perform salat during Khutba as well. Because Nabi Alehesalam has asked to one of his Sahabi to do so during khutba (reported in sahih ahadeth)
