Im not yet decided o whether or not they're a good part of the ummah...
I mean, if you listened to all the stuff about them kidnapping British soldiers for "no reason", you'd think that they were the enemy.
But add to that the fact that the USA has been funding Iranian terrorist groups from ethnic minorities, eg. Kurds, Arabs, etc. in order to destabilise the nation from within...Well, are they still wrong for being wary of anyone linked to the US in waters anywhere near Iran?
Meh.
As for the nuclear weapons thing (im pretty certain its Iran Im thinking of), noone-not even George Bush-has the right to tell other nations what they may or may not do when it comes to weapons, land, etc. so long as noone is hurt.

The brittish soldiers where on Iranian waters. They do not live there they where young and foolish. They thought they where on a boat ride like if it was a party.

The britts pee on iraqi prisoners, they force themselves in iraqi homes and beat children up behind walls. Do you honestly belive they will be gentlemen and stay on their side of the water?

I belive the islamic republic is evil, not cause its islamic but cause its a dictatorhip that tortures and kills people that speak out.

and ps, they tried to make the arabs rebell during the iran iraq war. The arabs thought the iraqis. They died for Iran. Its realy stupid its like making the southern states of america fight the northen. They may be diffrent cultures et c but they are one nation.

What I meant was that there are always 2 sides to any story.
If you see someone with a finger pointed at them, dont look at them, look at the person doing the pointing.
Im British, and the press here had a field day about those soldiers and how badly they were treated, etc.
Im not saying that the way that they were treated was as great as it could have been, but again there are 2 sides to the story.
Im not sure that anyone knows the full story-except the military, perhaps.
I just find it laughable that the Iranians were practically spat on by the press, and others, but that it then turns out that the US/Britain is just as bad as they say that Iran is.
