Excellent post. All of them are of value. The one I see many of us overlooking is the last one #21

21. He who angers you controls you.

How often each of us allows our words to be from anger and how often we mistake anger as being righteousness.

The truth is the one who causes us anger, wins and controls us we anger takes over. People do try to get us angry so they can control us. It is a very effective control tool and if you see the papers you will see how often angry people do things that serve the best interest of their enemies.

Right on spot brother! That is why we should always ask guidance from Allah to help us control our emotions and channel our energy in the positive direction instead. Instead of breaking a guy's limb in anger one can go use that energy pray or dzikr and calm oneself down and when he's ready he can think of a logical solution to his problem.. How often each of us allows our words to be from anger and how often we mistake anger as being righteousness.
We ask guidance from Allah becaus he knows best.
Ya allah, enlighten our path when darkness overcomes us. give us the the courage to face our mistakes and change.. give us patience to travel through this world .. because in the end, jannah will be our destination insahallah.

Salamualikum.

Beautiful One Liners

1 Give Allaah what’s right — not what’s left.

2 Man’s way leads to a hopeless end — Allaah’s way leads to an endless hope.

3 Lot of prostrating will keep you in good standing.

4 He who prostrates before Allaah can stand before anyone.

5 In the sentence of life, the Satan may be a comma–but never let him be the period.

6 Don’t put a question mark where Allaah puts a period.

7 Are you wrinkled with burden? Come to the Masjid for a face-lift.

8 When praying, don’t give Allaah instructions — just report for duty.

9 Don’t wait for six strong men to take you to Masjid.

10 We don’t change Allaah’s message — His message changes us.

11 The Masjid is prayer-conditioned.

12 When Allaah ordains, He sustains.

13 Plan ahead — It wasn’t raining when Prophet Nuh built the ark.

14 Most people want to serve Allaah, but only in an advisory position.

15 Suffering from truth decay? Brush up on your Qura'an.

16 Exercise daily — walk with the Lord.

17 Never give Satan a ride — he will always want to drive.

18 Nothing else ruins the truth like stretching it.

19 Compassion is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back.

20 He who angers you controls you.

21 Worry is the ‘darkroom’ in which ‘negatives’ can develop.

22 Give Satan an inch & he’ll be a ruler.

23 Allaah doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

Greetings and peace be with you MuslimahMuminah; and thank you for some wonderful words of wisdom

10. We don't change Allah's message -- His message changes us.
This is what we should be striving towards
15. Most people want to serve Allah, but only in an advisory position.
It is easier to talk about God’s word but it is much tougher to live by them ourselves; sadly this makes hypocrites of most of us

In the spirit of striving to live as God / Allah intended.
