I thought I'd start a thread for all of us to ponder our blessings in life and to share the things we are grateful for.

Today I am grateful for:
  • the sunshine and the time I have spent in the garden
  • the first strawberries of the season (Yay!!)
  • some time on my own to spend with God and in his Word
  • God revealing himself in my life so wonderfully
  • my husband and my children, who are a daily blessing to me
  • my friends and family, who love me as I am
  • my daily challenges, which lead me to grow stronger in character and in faith
  • for our health and for God's provisions for our lives

What about you?

Peace

Another chance to serve Allah(swt) and try to repent for my past.

My Arabic is improving enough so I can now comprehend most of the Qur'an in Arabic

Friends

I didn't read my name in this morning's obituaries, but when the day comes I hope I will be very pleased and thankful to know my name finally did make the obituaries.

Today I am grateful for
those who love me for who I am, and
those who love me despite of who I am.

For the times
when I manage to rise above myself, and be gracious and loving towards others,
when I can put the need of others before my own,
when I can stay in God's presence despite the busyness of my day.
