Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullaah wa Barakaatuh, The U.S. and the West now want to re-open and use the same case against Syria, Iran, Hamsa and/or Hizbullaah . They are using the crash of PanAm flight 103 like a stick to clobber any Arab or Muslim state they choose.
They blew up Egypt Air flight 990, carrying 33 top Egyptian military officers, over New York and no one brought them to the U.N. or to courts of justice!

Why wasn't the crash of PanAm 103 Over Lockerbie viewed the Same way?
Doesn't Conspiracy thinking dominate American and Western thinking when it comes to Arabs and Muslims? So, why deny the same free thought for other people?
Imagine if PanAm 103 crashed over Libya and the Libyan authorities conducted the investigation solo and without intervention from outside, would the U.S. government and American public have accepted the results of Libya's investigation? Would they have believed that the PanAm 103 pilot purposely committed suicide and crashed or blew up the plane?
The Americans and the Europeans always sent their own investigating teams in any accident involving American or European personnel and did not accept the opinion of any one else.
This arrogance, double standards and hegemony is what gives bad taste for the West not only in the Middle East, but every where
