i'm posting this in general chat because i thought it would interest non-muslims too.
i came across these videos on the web. i've watched the first 2 and i thought they were pretty decent. has anyone seen these?
they are narated by ben kingsley. each one is 50+ minutes.

I watched the first one. I thought it was such a brilliant piece of propaganda that I felt no need to watch any more.
Good fodder for the believer.

hmmmm....... You don't have to believer to enjoy, but I think you have to be a believer to believe all that is presented. :D

what parts did you think were propaganda? it didn't really conflict with anything that i've learned.

It has been over a year since I saw it. But as I remember I was put off by the "Perfect" aspect of it. :skeleton:
Also, I wasn't looking for a fight and especially not with you. :-[

it wasn't perfect - for example it said that the nutty destruction of a church in jerusalem set off the crusades.
naw, no fight. i was just curious what specifically you found incorrect.

Wow, I'm surprised all u guys didn't see it! I saw it years ago...and it's really a great documentary to watch, I'm sure u'll all enjoy it insha-Allah.

Nice videos, but it will not change my mind about islam neither make me more believe, there is a God. But interesting viewing ! :thumbs_up
PS: But my preference is asian history. This is really fascinating me !
