Salaam,

I don't know the status of how many forum members that can speak or understand Urdu, nevertheless I think to make it fair mods/Admin should add an Arabic section. That's the fair way. Especaily since the quran beholds the Arabic language when in fact some people don't even understand Arabic. Just a suggestion :)

Wsalaam.

Arabic is not even my first or second or even third language, and I speak it, and I think it is very important, for all of us here to try and learn it....

Bring on the Arabic Section...

Yeah I think it is very important even for people in the process of learning the Quran. Come to think of it what do we say our prayers in? It's Definetly not Urdu, and English is definetly out of the picture! :)

But if you do an Arabic one, people could teach Arabic to other LI members...

As a side note- if we have an Arabic section we can teach the Converts/reverts in arabic, so they wouldn't have a problem even trying to recite their prayers. :sister:

oh wow, do you think maybe, even if the Urdu thing fails, we should still have an Arabic section...

Arabic section would've been the first language I thought they would've had a section. Cuz it would've been logical and realistic :-\

Quran= Arabic
Prayers= Arabic

get my point? :?

Assalamu'Alaykum

the problem with that is... who will be teaching? there are not alot of arabic speakers on Li the whole section will just be a flop we have enuff threads on arabi but they end up dying out. its hard enuff for someone to maintain an arabic thread let alone a section. usually forums have arabic section if there are lots of "arabic speakers" take for example the urdu section mashallah we have alot of Indian/pakistani members on this forum so that section has a good chance of surviving. even if u ppl considered on having a "somali section" that also can be understandable since we also have lots of Somali members aswell, but to have an arabic section i think its too far feched and just a waste of space. I could be wrong but... how about we try to first work on all the "arabic threads we have already".:thumbs_up
