1. Who created the Sharia (Islamic law) ... was it written in the Quran, hadith??
How did it come to existence....


2. Why do some Muslim countries discourage knowledge and technology?
Why would they want to stay without technology?

The Shari'a is based on Qur'an and Sunnah, and the way of the companions of Allaah's Messenger (sal Allaahu alaihi wa-Salam) :)

I really don't know.. we know that when people stuck to the Qur'an and Sunnah, they advanced in many fields of knowledge and technology. So that should be promoted;
