i heard watching movies were haram??
most movies are full of ....yak +o( these are surely haraam as that will lead u to commit adultery -----as least make u think of nasty things .

if we watch movies like Omar Mukhtar , then ......ummmm may be not 100 % haram lol :p

i have stopped watching movies as even u watch kids movies , minimum 1 or 2 scenes will be there those are haraam to watch

is meat from fast food like Macdonald or burger king haram?
Jews & Christians are people of the holy books..theirs meats are halal for Muslims. But if Muslims halal shops are available ,then may be it's better if u eat there.

when i pray i always think about other things.
i guess we all do . Satan becomes active when we try to remember Allah . Keep trying to concentrate on prayer , say I seek refuge in Allah (The One God) from the Satan (devil) the cursed, the rejected before starting prayer & when Satan tries to mislead u

To the question about halal/haram foods.

I believe Chapter 5 Verse 3 explains beautifully and in detail:

Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. [5:3]

May Allah strenghten the faiths and give knowledge to the new believers.

better to let it grow naturally and not cut it,

4. i heard watching movies were haram??
looking at a non-mahram women is haram, that cuts out 99% of movies.

5. is meat from fast food like Macdonald or burger king haram?
may Allah forgive the sheikhs who said it was halal to eat such meat as they are "people of the book" as this is an obvious mistake by people who dont know these lands in the west.

most people who work there are not people of the book, and the meat they are supplying is not killed in the correct manner that people of the book are supposed to use. many sheikhs looking at how the christians slaughtered meat in muslim lands assumed the christians were the same here so made the mistake of declaring all the meat here halal.

now you name me one slaughter house where they slaughter meat correctly, just one... there isnt.

stay away from all non halal meat until you learn a bit about this topic, also mcdonalds are boycotted for their support of israel so avoid them full stop.

6. when i pray i always think about other things. like random thoughts will pop up in my mind i know its satin but how do i stop him?
happens bro, keep up your prayer and it lessons with time.

assalaamu alaykum,

Just to clarify - I think you mean Salat here, which refers to prayer; Zakat refers to the charity.

Regarding the last two rak'ahs (units) of prayer, the basic principle is that only Al Fatihah (Alhamdu lillah) should be recited in them, but it is permissible to recite another soorah (chapter of the Qur'an) after that sometimes, because of the report narrated by Muslim (452) from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite in the first two rak’ahs of Zuhr prayer approximately thirty verses in each rak’ah, and in the last two rak’ahs approximately fifteen verses, or he said: half of that. In the first two rak’ahs of ‘Asr he used to recite in each rak’ah approximately fifteen verses, and in the last two rak’ahs approximately half of that.

Shaykh al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: This hadeeth indicates that reciting more than al-Faatihah in the last two rak’ahs is Sunnah, and many of the Sahaabah held that view, including Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq (may Allaah be pleased with him). This is the view of Imam al-Shaafa’i, whether that is in Zuhr or any other prayer. Among our later scholars, this view was followed by Abu’l-Hasanaat al-Laknawi… end quote. Sifat al-Salaah, p. 113.

2. my beard isnt full yet i shave everyday so that it can become full. is this bad? or should i just let it grow? shaving it will make it grow faster thats why i do it
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah preserve him) said: The definition of the beard as stated by the scholars of (Arabic) language is: the hair of the face, jawbone and cheeks, in the sense that all the hair on the cheeks, jawbone and chin is part of the beard and removing any of it is counted as a sin, because the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Let your beards grow,” “Leave your beards alone,” “Let your beards increase,” “Let your beards be full.” This indicates that it is not permissible to remove anything from the beard. But the sin may vary in degree – shaving the beard is worse than shortening it, because it is a more obvious contradiction of the Sunnah.

Al-Nawawi said: the best is to leave it as it is and not touch it or shorten it at all. (Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi, 8/39).

6. when i pray i always think about other things. like random thoughts will pop up in my mind i know its satin but how do i stop him?
Evil whispers during prayer and at other times come from the Shaytaan, who is keen to misguide the Muslim and deprive him of good and keep it far away from him. One of the Sahaabah complained to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about waswaas during prayer, and he said: “The Shaytaan comes between me and my prayers and my recitation, confusing me therein.” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “That is a devil called Khanzab. If he affects you seek refuge in Allah from him and spit drily to your left three times.” He [the Sahaabi] said, I did that and Allaah took him away from me.
(Narrated by Muslim, 2203)

Proper focus (khushoo’) is the essence of prayer. Prayer without proper focus is like a body without a soul. The following are two of the things that help one to develop the proper focus:

1 – Striving to think about what you are saying and doing, pondering the meanings of the Qur’aan, dhikr and du’aa’s that you are reciting; bearing in mind that you are conversing with Allaah as if you can see Him. For when the worshipper stands to pray, he is speaking to his Lord, and ihsaan means worshipping Allaah as if you are seeing Him, and knowing that even though you cannot see Him, He sees you. Every time a person experiences the sweetness of prayer, he will be more inclined to do it. [?]. This depends of the strength of one's faith – and there are many means of strengthening one’s faith. Hence the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Of the things of your world, women and perfume have been made dear to me, and my joy is in prayer.” According to another hadeeth he said, “Let us relax, O Bilal, with prayer,” and he did not say, Give us a break from it.

2 – Striving to ward off the things that may distract you during prayer, namely thinking about things that are irrelevant or distracting. Waswaas affects each person differently, because waswaas has to do with a person’s level of doubts and desires and the degree to which a person is attached to other things or is fearing other things.
