We shouldnt really ask these questions should we?

because it is better not to tell, because its kind of showing off, and we should be humble towards Allah and not show off our deeds and tell every1 about them.

Just my opinion....

in the situation where it's not just about showing off but rather to try and inspire others and give others goals to reach, then it's okay. The sahabah used to always compete in giving away stuff, and one would say to the other I have given away such and such and the other would say but I have given even more... etc. Alhamdulillah their hearts were pure.

I think it isn't important how many times you read and finished Quran, The important thing how much you can adapt It in your life!
