Proud of you

My prayers are with you
Wherever you go
May the Sun lighten up your day
As hearing your name
Brightens my way.

I was not one to talk
Didn’t care about the rules
Nor of the world
I was so blind,
So confused.
Seeing Muslims around me, made no change
When Allah had chosen,
To remain hidden from me
He had his reasons,
Now listen carefully.

One day it hit me,
Slowly it tickled me
Emaan it’s called
I didn’t know
Slowly I realized
What did I know?
Nothing, nothing at all
I stopped in the road
Tears flowing down my soul
I stared at the sky
Please tell me why?

Was it my destiny, to remain this blind?
No, it wasn’t a voice spoke to me
You see you’re alive
And not under the ground, lying dead,
In the misery of every unbeliever,
No rest what so ever,
With so many regrets.

Sister.
We were both different then
None of us prayed,
Fasted,
Or held a moment saved
So that Allah would enter our day
And make our sins,
Be washed away.

Now All Praise is to Allah,
The Lord of all worlds
We’re praying and fasting
Telling stories of the Prophets,
Peace be upon them all
Laughing about great deeds,
The small ones remembering us
How much more we need.

My little sister,
A bloodline connects our bodies
Our family tree blooms with thousand leaves.
Still I never felt this way before
Now with Allah,
Love for you has taken a whole new meaning
This is a whole new way
The best of all
A sisterly closeness,
Something to show off.

You’re doing your best to please Him,
You’re making your past look like somebody else’s
Your shadow is disappearing
All the bad deeds are now flowed with earnings of good ones
The intentions of a humble one
The words of a wise one
The heart of a mother,
To his son
The love of a father
To his daughter.

Never did blood make me so proud
But now I look around,
Shout!
This is my sister
My lifetime companion
She’s a Muslimah,
Now please make way
Her and mine destination is Jannah
Our companions on this road
Are believers of one God,
The followers of Islam,
The true soldiers
Of this dunya.

End the Lies!!!

Liars and grudges, shapes the evilness in every person's light.
Can't help it, can't deny it, it's coming closer by day, by night.

The truth in this moment, is weaved by the spider of darkness,
Weaved into a web of lies, one big gigantic tool for fright.

I seem to misunderstand everyone around me, even the liars and fools.
Can't pick and choose, who's trustable water or a lying tool.
No,
I have to stay stronger, when I'm getting weaker.
I have to stay sound, when sense is the last I'll come around.

Days go by, you can count on it,
as much as human mind can count on his shadow, beneath his feet.
Never leaving, sometimes disappearing.

Went and left, without goodbye. Not a note was written, nowehere proof given.
Truth left so fast, left us all behind.

Mourning, while leaves of autumn are toaring apart. Opening the door, to a new winter start.

How did it went so fast? How didn't I even react?
Time and Truth, without those both I'm left with lies.
Without those two, I can't seem to clear out my mind.

Mistakes are made, lies are told,
hearts are hurt and still no one steps out to break this freaking curse!

Look Again

You look at me observing,
Saying I’m oppressed
My scarf bothers you,
makes you wonder and glare
Like you were in my place and understand,
Like this is oppression,
Some man made justice and back warded reflection

You’re still staring stranger,
My scarf gives you no rest,
I'm staring and smiling wide back at you,
Not a single word of yours,
makes me wanna change my mind
Whatever you say stranger, I do not care
You think you know, hah, that you're so aware

Islam's definition is violence in your book,
Muslim girls with sad looks
Maybe you'd open your eyes, and look at me
Do I seem so strangled in belief?
Have I lost every bit of sanity?

Every time you see me, it makes you think of prison
Still you are shocked to see,
the freedom in my eyes
and the dignity in my walk
You wonder what is this? She’s not for real
Oh yes I am stranger, why doubt?
If I’d be oppressed, I’d shout.

The Game

Ncncnc,
Aye my brothers, my sisters
Check it out
You’re talkin’ sh*t
Makin’ yourself so blind
In the eyes of God
No one’s gonna hide
You’re playin’ the game
Of this silly dunya
Thinkin’ you’re justifying,
All your lies

Oh My Lord,
Have mercy of them
Shaytaan has played
His awful game
Taken away eyesight, brains,
Oh yes,
He’s taken it
To the next level
You won’t survive if you don’t repent
So what’chya waitin’ for?
Bow in front
of the whole world

Lookin’ at me,
They feel as they’re bein’ poisoned
No wonder, doesn’t it hurt?
To see a believer in the eyes
And talk nonsense
Behind the wall, window and car
God I wouldn’t wanna see what you see
Astagfirullah, this is just freaky

Think thrice, not just twice
Before you open your mouth
Use your tongue
To slander the Ummah
To slander the Slaves of Allah
Be aware, every move of yours is saved
God won’t forget
What’chya talkin’ ‘bout?
He’s the First and Last
You’re just a test,
Nothin’ more than that.

Get a grip of yourselves
Brothas and sistahs
This mind-blowing dunya
Is just fake
To make you blind,
Of what’s really happening
In this life
Of what’s really awaitin’ for you
Of what really
Is true.

My little one

Miles and miles away
You're like the flower,
So gentle, so rare.

I came to know you,
Came to touch you.
I found that nothing
Was just like you.

My little one,
I love you so much.
Allah has saved you,
but you're still so young.
Danger will try to get you,
but don't despair.
Call me darling, I'm always for you there.

You're hand rested on mine.
We're alike, if you're the light,
I'm the night.
If you're the sun, I'm the moon.
But if you're love, I'm the fool.

Can't help it, can't deny it.
Love for you is so different, darling.
My little one, my precious heart.
Do sometimes, say my name.
Do sometimes, help me get through the pain.

Spare me memories
There's not much more I can take
Happiness don't come near me,
I want to rest.

Sigh...

Ya Allah, I’m trying so bad to hide my sorrow
The one that was caused to me by your Great mercy
The words of Truth you spoke to the human kind,
A little misery for every happy life you granted.

----

In the world that you have created,
There am I trying to stay firm in your path,
I don’t know how much more I’ll last.
How much more you want to test me,
Make me go through life’s enemies.

----

If I had to choose ya Allah, I’d choose to be an Angel,
Because Angels do not disobey
But humans my Lord, can so easily walk away.

----

I don’t dare to utter the words of love to you
I’m so weak and afraid, I fear for you to look my way
You see sins are everywhere I go
And I feel I cannot be pure anymore.

----

Like a candle, with its fire burning strong
So is the Emaan of a Muslim home.

----

Parents and children, doing their best
Making sure to get an A from this test.

----

Have mercy upon us all,
For we’re merely humans my Lord,
Created of clay, not of light that never stops shining
Nor of fire, that burns the sins away
Nor of ice, to never cry or shed a tear.
Merely clay, that can easily be washed away.

Don't

Don't give up, it's not too late
We can still fix it, we can make it okay.

We had no clue, we weren't prepared
It was meant to be a secret,
closely guarded by every tear

Secrets must be held. If you give your word,
Don't turn the other cheek and tell.

Mistakes were made, but it's no too late
We can still fix it, we can make it okay.

I hope I've got God on my side,
You see I haven't forgotten -
Only God you can trust, Only Him you've got.

I made a mistake, They all had to pay
Wasn't my intention, Please,
Don't make them suffer for my sake.

Just let me fix this, Let us finally get away.
Summon the rain, summon away the pain.

Wash away our sins, have mercy,

Please,

Forgive.

assalamu aleykum. Mashaallah these are are all great poems!!

Think Again really goes to explain how we muslims feel about our hijab..it is a great sutra for us.

its only the valuable that is covered and not left for all to see. Just think of this

how is it that those who own valuables keep them under lock and key away from peoples eyes? the jeweller stores his valuables under very tight security?

the same with muslim women Islam values them and protects their dignity and modesty..

Again would anyone prefer a peeled fruit or an unpeeled one?
would you choose to buy an unpeeled mango, orange, banana or whatever it is over a peeled one?

A question for you to contemplate....

Consciousness of Allah..

Allah is my Creator,
He was the Prophet's teacher,
His life pattern I must follow,
Or to Hell I'll surely go.

His Bounties to me are many,
Day Or night,
Wet or sunny.
Amongst the best is the Qur'aan,
A light of truth to Jinn & man.

I'm told to pray five times a day,
Remember Him in what I do or say,
Be good to people black or white,
And say to them that which is right.

I must not follow my own desire,
Often the Devil my thoughts would inspire,
I must yield to the Qur'aan & Sunnah,
Then will I gain Allah's Jannah!

Morning Has Broken
(from the Psalms of David/ i.e., The Saboor of Dawud)
Recorded By: Cat Stevens

Morning has broken,
like the first morning

Blackbird has spoken,
like the first bird

Praise for the singing,
praise for the morning

Praise for the springing
fresh from the world

Sweet the rain's new fall,
sunlit from heaven

Like the first dewfall,
on the first grass....

Praise for the sweetness
of the wet garden

Sprung in completeness
where his feet pass...

Mine is the sunlight,
mine is the morning

Born of the one light,
eden saw play...

Praise with elation,
praise every morning

God's recreation
of the new day

when I entered the priesthood seminary - we used to sing this during the morning mass...

when I embraced Islam... this song echoed in my mind every Fajr salah...

and everytime... I feel like tears would burst from my eyes...

knowing that Allah - created another day for me to walk on this beautiful life... and if this life is already beautiful... how much more is paradise.

Allahu-akbar!...

The "Holy" Fools

Stop causing children pain. Stop this stupid power-game.
You're not alone and it's not all about you.
Give yourself a break, and leave those blood-filled tools.
War causes only pain, and people are walking in vain.
Stop it now.

Crying children. Dying mothers,
Tortured fathers.

This is what war is, this is what that land is.
O Israeli, look at your holy land
O Palestinian, look at your holy land
Filled with the blood of innocent ones,
haunting the nights of guilty ones.

O people of the holy land,

This is not what Moses wanted you to have,
But what the devil has granted you access to.

So,
Are we now two?
To stop this massacre,
by the "holy" fools.

Wow, I haven't written any poems in a long time. Thank you all for commenting!

It really bothers me, 'cause I like rhymes and poems. Here is the latest I wrote, inshaAllah you all like it. There is a story behind it, but dunno if you all wanna hear it, so if yes, do ask me to tell. :p

---

Only Your Name

The wind called your name
My eyes I closed and I heard
The wind called your name
All of the sudden, wiping away my pain

I opened my eyes, looked around
A beautiful flower I saw on the ground
and picked the flower, I heard its say!

It called Your name, oh it called Your name .

Up I looked, up to the sky so blue
No cloud could be seen, so blue the colour had been

Oh it called Your name, only Your name.

I ran and ran, the grass was mild to my small feet
The wind blew away my grief
The flowers smiled, their blooms so beautiful to my young eyes
Running still, my destination I didn't know
But they all called, and I had to find out.

The sweet butterfly, it flied pass me
I said please stay for a while,
It didn't stay, but I heard its say

Oh it called Your name, only Your name.

I stopped, and down fell a small raindrop.
In the middle of my hand, there it fell, so fast,
Without a warning it came, a little raindrop.

Oh it called Your name, only Your name.

Years have passed, I have changed
But I went back just to see it all the same.

My tears wouldn't stop, like the raindrop

Oh I called Your name, only Your name.
