:sl: brothers and sisters...

Well ramdhan is just round the corner and obviosuly i cannot wait! :D :D

But in a way im actually scared too.. this is coz wenever i fast, i tend to get the most horrible head-aches ever! I think this is because i havn't ate during the day.. or drank anything, so i b'cum dehydrayted. And then theres the 3 hour lectures at uni..they are bound to give anyone a head-ache..ramadhan or not! :uuh:

Becoz of the headaches.. i don't feel like doing anything such as readin the Quran, or any other acts of worship.. i know this is real bad but i cant help it

I kinda was hoping for some advise maybe? is there anything i can do, so i dnt experiance head-aches this ramadhan so that i can make the most of this year?

Jazakhallah in advance :)

Have some rest after returning from uni and don't think your are fasting. Sometimes it is psychological also and if you are not habitual of taking nap, keep urself committed, the way u like.

Not failure but low aim is the crime, means one needs to keep oneself in high spirits. Allah Almighty helps those who help themselves :D

Salam.

Sis first of all i wana say sowiee to hear about your situation. I understand the fasts are going to be longer so it will be alot of presure but seriously sis think about the people who have no food, I know for 12hours you feel dehydrated without anything been put down your cell.

Read qura'an, force your self. Remember there's many people out there who want to read qura'an but can't for several reasons:
1) Don't know how to read and struggling now.
2) Some people have personal issues.
But thats just two of things i picked up but thats between Allaah and them, not between me or you.

Anywho back to the point. If you don't want to read qura'an because your tired coming back from Uni or got migranes because of hunger then just lay down and im sure you can do tasbeeh, or recite some sura'hs you know off by heart and durning this period of time ask alot of forgivness from Allaah.
Maybe you can come back from Uni sit down for abit as you will be tired and durning that time when your sat down put some qura'an recitation on and calm down.
You may also want to nafl and sit on prayer mat and beg to Allaah for forgivness.

I suggest you read on about Al-Akhira and what happens when you die.
This period of time must NOT be wasted because it's too too precious, we must strive for taqwah and remember how poor die of hunger. :(
This is a test from Allaah sis, everyone has different test in each way.
Remember one thing your not going to give up just because you got a migrane because every action you will be questioned upon. You can't say to Allaah 'i had a terrible migrane' thats just a weak answer sis.

Remember Allaah is testing each individual in each way. So your not the only one who is struggling, thats the point we have to strive for taqwah or fail! I mean what an earth we going to reply to our Lord when he asks us why we wasted our time?!

This life is a test and in the month of Ramadan satan gets locked up so we have 30days or odd to be making the most of our days!

BTW, headakes are NOTHING, worship comes first sis... Just take it easy it's just coz you haven't had anything down your cell and because of that you feel weak.

Nice site posted by bro Makky, get crackin sis http://www.islamicboard.com/general/...o-strange.html

I pray to Allaah to forgive us all and lead us all to the right path Amin

sis one more thing do lots of dua'ah for me and everyone and your self plz

Ma'assalama
