for a sister whom got into a discussion with me over prayer time. just need someone to confirm that say for eg on the prayer timetable fajr namaz has a start time for 4.29 and jamaat at 5.30 am which out of the time stated would be the time of prayer? Ive said jamaat time as it something that ive known since offering prayer, she stating the start time, can someone please clarify quickly

the start time is when the time for the salaah has stareted and the jamaat time is when the Salah is held in the local masjid (issuers of the timtable)

So Namaz will be valid from the start time

Bro obviously your a dude so in mosque yo will read with Imam so thats the Jamat but at home it's different, but never make salah late tho :)
