england is the country

great britain and united kingdom is the same which is name for england scotland wales and northern ireland. officially this is 'the united kingdom of great britain and northern ireland' :?

Britain is the island comprising Scotland, England and Wales.
The United Kingdom is Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

lol.....im laughing because once i visited bangladesh.....and what i found was tha many tend to refer to all parts of UK as either just ENGLAND or London! even if their talking about birmingham say....lol....confusing ...
