assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu !

i think nisaab is the things Allah could be holding for you in the furure.

for example, if i want Allah to grant me a good job i will say "ya Allah make a good job naseeb upon me".

but i could be HORRIBLY wrong :ooh:

someone correct me inshaAllah

:sl: Wow, I was just on wikipedia searching for it. :muddlehea  :ooh: :uuh: Well this is what Wiki says (insha'allah it is of benefit).

''In Sharia (Islamic Jurisprudence) nisab (نصاب) is the amount which savings or capital or product must exceed in order for the Muslim owner to be obliged to give zakat. Several hadith have formulas for calculating nisab. One of the most well known states that No Zakat is due on wealth until one year passes.

In general, nisab is considered an amount equal to the essential needs of a person or family for one year. In many modern societies, nisab is often interpreted to equate a governmentally determined poverty threshold.''

:salamext:

According to the best of my knowledge the Nisaab is the amount of Zakaah one pays, it's 2.5% of the wealth that you have owned for a year or more. I thought this was common knowledge but since nobody else seems to know I could be wrong. Wallahu A'lam.
