I had the same problem in high school. If you're lunch break is after 1pm, then simply bring together a few other muslims who would like to pray Jummah, find the most knowledgable person in your group - they give a khutbah and lead the prayer.

It's best to check with a local imam the rules of Jummah first to make sure you're doing it properly. In our high school we had a teacher who was also an islamic scholar so he used to organise and lead the friday prayer for us.

Start up an ISOC, or as the Americans like to say, an MSA, stands for Islamic Society, or Muslim Student Association, for all the muslims in your school, and like the bro said, whoever has the most knowledge should lead it...

I agree with the above brothers.

Also, what time is your lunch break? Surely you can pray during it :)

Isn't there a disused room or an empty classroom that you can use? I mean, even if you have to pray it by yourself. I'm sure your school will let you have a separate prayer room if you ask them.

If you ask permission to use a classroom, they will let you. Even if it is you and two other brothers then Jummah will be accepted. Once the option to pray is there, then encouraging the others to pray won't be that hard. Even a non-practising muslim has a hard time saying 'I don't want to pray' and often you can get them in to pray, and the more muslims praying, the more peer-pressure for other muslims to pray (isn't high school great).

Also in our high school, some muslimah's prayed Jummah with us, altho I'm not sure if they just prayed Nafl salah while following the Imam. Again check with your local imam on this, we had loads of different madhabs in our high school (including some salafi's) so the rulings on this may differ.

Hope this helps.

Asallama Alaikum brother yeah!!!I know what you mean we had tons of problems such as that.If that's the occasion then I guess you and the other brother could pray alone together.Like :brother: Muezzin suggested pray maybe during lunch.Does any one know how many people need to attend for there to be a friday khutba?
Appreciated Jazak'Allah.

Alhadullilah

My former high school allowed me to pray every jummah at the local masjid...I mean they respect your religious rights...I enjoy it there...All i did is ask permission for every friday till the end of high school...

well when i was in highschool there was no prayer rooms but elhamdulillah when I left my brother and another friend worked out with the principal to have a room for "Friday Khutbahs" elhamdulillah the Islamic centre here has plenty of khateebs so now we have khutbahs in all or almost every highschool, college and university.
