You're a wannabe computer geek ;D

If you fixed computers then you'd use it :p

For instance when explorer.exe causes and error and your icons and taskbar disappears, then what will you do? cos your mouse can't work, so would you press the reset button?

What you're actually meant to do is press Ctrl+alt+delete and bring up the task manager, then click on 'file' then 'run new task' and then the 'run' command will open and then you type 'explorer' in it and explorer will reopen and your icons and stuff will come back.

And you saying it's only for lazy people wouldn't be able to get back your icons without resetting your computer ;D

I really don't know whether it's a fact or not.

I heard from a friend of mine that when a guy goes for a job offer in Gulf as a programmer or a sys admin.

He will be given a system and a keyboard without a mouse. So the Employers can really understand how far he is good with the commands

I don't need to fix computers :) One good thing about Vista, nothing goes wrong at system level :thumbs_up

I know exactly where 'explorer.exe' is located on the C: drive :D However, I've never had to do that with Vista ;)

The majority of the stuff is all laziness...But like I said, I haven't had to do any of that :D
So you admit you don't fix computers? :p hence the reason why you're a wannabe ;D

So tell me, your explorer.exe has closed down, so now your mouse doesn't work, your icons are gone, your taskbar is gone unall, so how will you get to that explorer.exe in your C: drive? (without using the run commands)

the key term was 'computer' rather than the synonym....'computer geek' sounds better than 'computer nerd'...and seems to be more commonly accepted amongst us non-computer geeks.
