View Full Version : Search Feature!!!!

The search feature has a limit of searching for words that are at minimum 4 letters. That is making it difficult (for me at least) to make productive searches. For instance Eid is not long enough to search for. So if I want to find all related thread to Eid I can't!!!!!!! This is VERY frustrating! Any way to make it 3 letters instead of 4?

Agree, I was searching for MIT courses here but I couldn't .. I'm sure there was a topic about it (guessing) but I can't prove it. :)

my experience with the search feature has convinced me that it is on drugs.

3 wont work well
reason being is that if you want to say for example search for "son"
then it will pick up irrelevant terms such as "reason" "Arson" "Treason" etc lol
it will return more junk then relevant!

You can't help such cases, but what if you want to search for 3 letter words? "786" "zAk"...etc. Making the limit to 3 can be helpful.

try doing wildcard search in " " see if that works :)
