Hello,

an boardmember which I really appreciate now (after some starting querels) give me a good hint to share one of my hobbies on this board: Photography!
I enjoy taking my camera everywhere we go, and I always come back home with loads of new pics. Some are snapshots but some are also very expressive.

Let me take you to a tour from the place I live. Let's see who find out.

Streetmarket in the city

another view of a neat place where this market is held. It is called 'Place d'armes' (could be translated as Armory Place)

Our country is also called 'Gibraltar of the north'. There are lots of huge medieval fortresses and one of the famous architects of those where 'Vauban' (but not this one).

now who recognize this? It's not my homecountry, but just neighbour country !

The flags in front of the Parliament building are Luxembourg, plus the nickname of Luxembourg is "Gibraltar of the North" so I also guess Luxembourg.

wonderful.. why didn't I see this thread before? did someone already answer France?

BTW-- I don't know why they put that glass pyramid entrance to the Paris Louvre? .. I guess people love it?.. I just think it is like a beautiful woman with cheap makeup? I assume they put it there to halt traffic a little? I just don't feel like it belongs there at all...but that is just me..

Thanks guyabano.. those were some amazing pix... wish there was one of those baguette and cheese carvans from france passing by right now...

peace!
