what is rep power for?

Rep Power = the amount of rep points a member gets when you rep them :)

ok..but theres reputation and therez rep power...?

Your reputatoion is the amounts of points you have received.
Rep power is the amount that you can give

For example if you were to rep me my reputation would increase by 1, whereas if i were to rep you, your reputation would increase by 21 :)
