View Full Version : Three Worst Men

TEH

There were three men competing to see who was the worst one in the
world.

The first one attacked a woman, beat her until her teeth fell out
and she bled from her nose and ears. He beat her so savagely that
she fainted.

He turned to the others and said, "I am the worst one of all."

The second man stepped up to rape her and beat her further until she
was almost dead.

He turned to the others and said, "No one can be worse than me."

The third one stepped up, smiled coldly, and said, "No, I am the
worst one even though I just stood by and watched, because this
woman is my sister."

Are we really the worst of the three men???

The main point is that it is worse to just stand by and do nothing while your brethren suffer.

Good post TEH.

There you go, if we see this happen to our own brothers and sisters, then we are effectively the third person, because we sat their and did nothing...

YA ALLAH! GIVE ME STRENGTH. (not really, just kidding)
Ok the moral of the story is that we shouldn't stand and do nothing whilst all this crap happens to our brother's and sister's: We have a responsibility to fellow muslims and so should look after them. That guy in the story represents us.

Yeh I can see why the message isn't all that clear for soem people, because the 3rd person is the worst because he was a 1ST HAND WITNESS. He didn't watch it on CNN, BBC, NBC, read it in The Times, The Mirror, The Washington Post, or from someone on an Islamic Forum!

I got an email a while ago with the same story. In that email, the woman represented Iraq; the first man Saddam Hussein; the second man the USA + the so called 'coalition of the willing'; and the final man, the worst of all, the Muslim Ummah. Salaam and take care, all.

Tell us how the West is raping Iraq?

So true and heart breaking!!! even i heard on the news about this 14 YEAR OLD iraqi girl whose family was shot dead, then she was raped by two american soldiers and burnt alive:cry:
Why have we become so cold, we run away from thEse news saying that it stresses us, what about those who r going thourgh it should we at least be aware of it, truly feel the pain in our heart and the least we could do is make dua for them. I dont understand why the muslim countries arent raising their voices against the opression of muslims!
I pray ALLAH helps us in helping our muslim brothers n sister but first we need to unite and ignore the minor differences of opinion ans stop dividing oursleves into different sects caz if we dont then ASHTUGHFIRULLAH what hapenning to muslims in middle east might happen to us as well.:X

something which springs to mind is backbiting, how often im in a room with people who are gossipping, despite not partaking i still allow it to happen.astaghfirullah.

may we all learn the lesson inshAllah

k There is sooo much to learn from this but we shuld have realized dis before..i mean i hear so many ppl talkin about how we shuld b calm and everythng...let me ask u this..we are the most oppressed Ummah rite now as Sheikh Feiz puts it and we're gonna b tlkin abt peace whn the other party is aimin str8 at us? Iraq, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kashmir, Gitmo, America, Britain, France ..everywhere..Muslims are being targeted and we sit here worryin abt how our life is messed up..ye we are some Ummah... i'm not sayin ppl who live dere are bad i'm syin ppl who are ruling it are or helpin in any way are...

btw..i know off topic but in Dubai, my friend told me how in this school..some 6 guys raped a girl and hte last one who was goin in to rape her ended up the brother bt he didn't know that was his sister and whn he saw it was her he walked out..IMAGINE..it disgusts me ..she died cuz it was basically gang rape..astaghfirullah

It appears like its the usual propaganda to further the nefarious purposes of the author allowing the reader to just have an emotional reaction without thinking to much.

This is a good one because it taps anger (sister being beaten) and guilt (not doing anything).

Its like VP Cheney saying that Hussein "had long-established ties with al Qaeda" even when there was none to help their case for attacking Iraq.

Propagandists want people angry and to react without thinking and looking at the true facts in order that they put aside reason and support their cause and the horrilbe things they do. Because most people are sheep and generally apathetic, especially when they don't know the facts and it doesn't effect them.

Since we're boiling down things to moronic terms and discussing this ridiculous analogy. My question is what does the author think the bystander should do?

(A) Help his sister to the hospital and call the cops to have the guys arrested and start a neighborhood watch program.
(B) Kill/beat/rape the two guys.
(C) Acutally don't kill the guys who did the acts (because he's afraid of them), but rather go to the apartment building where they are from and randomly kill people, justifying it by saying they were all from the same place.

I think the author would follow (A) because he sounds kinda Ghandi-ish. Maybe I'll start a poll based on this.
