Its nice to know that we admire seekers of knowledge Alhamdulillah.
I was just thinking though, what benefit is this thread bringing, especially since some of the people do not seem to be widely known?

I assume you are refering to Abu Tasneem Dawud Adib and Abu Uwais Abdullah Ahmad Ali (rahimahullah).

hmm.. my favorite would be aishah umm abdillah bint Sheikh muqbil bin haadi alwadi'i. Rahimahullah and hafidhahallah ta'ala.
She used to be my teacher. Boy she is scary. But MashaAllah so far i havent met another sister with as much knowledge as her.

Oh I like Suhaib Webb, Ben Baaz, Ibn Taimiyyah, Abul Hasan Ali an Nadwi, Yusuf Qardawi, Hamzah Yusuf, Zaid Shakir.
