That was so cool.. I saw a live demonstration in a robotics lab at the university. I believe its quite a challenge to programme a robot to do those kind of movements. Besides it being "cute", it can serve an educational purpose.. to teach children or new muslims the movements of Salat. Think about it!

Ahh, that's a really good point, Alim. Maybe it could be like a sort of educational toy.
I showed my mom the video and she's like "mashallah, even robots are praying nowadays!" :P

No way!!:embarrass I dont like to talk alot (..and I'm a lawyer...:D)...
Usually from each batch, there would be like a group 10 people who would be walking together, eating together, talking together and "living" in the library together ... speaking in English 24/7....
Those students are debators... and AIKOL is very proud of them... I am also very proud of them.....

yeah i agree, i teach at a technical school and they enjoy making robots.
I think the video is just a program. Im pretty sure they didnt make that robot.
