View Full Version : Will Allah punish me after this?

For one week, I had successfully avoided the dirty practice of masturbation, and that was when I prayed to Allah, and promised that I wouldn't do it for a week, and I told Him myself in my prayer, that he could incur a severe punishment if he wished.

However, today I broke it, and commited it, and now I really regret it. Now, I am scared sick that He would give me a major punishment. I will be giving two rakats of prayer in forgiveness, but would he accept it even when I told him that he could punish me in any way he wished, if I commited that sin?

And is there anything in the Qu'ran or Hadeeths that state anything of relevance to this specifically?

Brother its not wise to reveal your sins. Inshallah it's better to talk in third person or something to get the same information.

anyways, here's some good info on the topic.

Ruling on masturbation and how to cure the problem

^^^ Because most of the time it is brothers that do this.

But then again, we shouldn't assume things.

Lol, brother sometimes people fall into this evil habit and it might be hard for them to stop, and it is up to us brothers and sisters to help them out Inshaa Allaah.

To the Thread Starter: Allaah swt forgives all sins, just turn to him in repentance Inshaa Allaah...

Check this Hadith out:

Hadith Qudsi: Allah, the Almighty, has said:

O Son of Adam,so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O Son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O Son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins as great as the earth, and were you then to face Me ascribing no partners to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.

May Allaah guide us all and forgive us all Amin thumma amin ya rabbil alameen!!

Just avoid evil sites such as porn and why not use 'negtar' so you can't open them sites... Like on my Computer i have it and no one can open any filty information/sites or anything. It's really good.. Also stay firmly away from opposite gender..

Im sure you won't do this infront of your parents so then why the heck do it infront of your LORD, the one who you will be questioned upon??!! THINK

Allah knows best. Allah can forgive who He wishes when He wishes, and so too can He punish. Although you should fear Allah's Wrath, you should also have hope in His Mercy and sincerely repent for your wrongdoing, and do other good deeds to try to expiate for this sin (and others in general). Allah loves that when His slave sins, that he turns to Him in repentance sincerely.

If you'd like to take some practical steps to prevent yourself from falling into this practice, and you are unable to marry at this time, then you should fast to lower your physical desire and stay away from situations that can arouse your desire as much as possible (which could be anywhere from internet pornography to your local grocery store's checkout counter).

You should also attempt to focus on building your Eman in Allah subhaana wa ta'aala, because the stronger your eman, the less likely you are to commit a sin like this one. You can build your eman by focusing on learning more about issues related to Jannah and Naar, on Paradise and Hellfire, and what is coming, and focusing your mind on imagining these things as described in the Qur'aan and by the Messenger sallallaahu alayhi wa sallim.

Whoever repents, Allah will turn to him in acceptance. Whoever seeks to draw closer to Allah, Allah will draw closer to him.

"And verily, I am indeed Forgiving to him who repents, believes (in My Oneness, and associates none in worship with Me) and does righteous good deeds, and then remains constant in doing them, (till his death)." [Ta-Ha 20:82]

Is it worth falling into this sin, thiking about it bro it's a dirt disgusting sin man, how long does the pleasure of doing the sin last not even a minute.

after you've done it, what do you get from it. Nothing you've earned yourself a sin, and plus your impure you have to take a shower you cant pray in a state of janaba. If you hate this sin from bottom of your heart you won't even come close to it.

If it helps, just remember Allah is watching you all the time. Feel afraid of Him and you will never commit such acts.
