On occupying a new house. I have put a thread into advise and support forum and have not had no replys! Can someone please kindly give me some views on the islamic teaching of the following:
I have just bought a house but am being told to do a quran khattam in the house, originally I was going to ask the imaam at the mosque to get the children who read quran to complete the quran reading and do a dua but now I am not to sure as to what to do. Can someone advise what is the islamic teaching for when occupying a new house, is doing a khattam in the new house mandatory or is there anything else that I should consider?
