Tadabbur-e-Quran by Amin Ahsan Islahi invites the reader to ponder and reflect on the message of the Quran. It is based on the principle of nazm or coherence and refutes the oft-repeated allegation that the Holy book lacks order and continuity.
Amin Ahsan Islahi was born in 1904 in Azamgarh, India. There, he was a student and later a long serving teacher at the Madrasatyl Islah which specialised in Arabic and Quranic Studies. A leading Islamic scholar who made Pakistan his home, he was able to draw on what he learned from his own teacher , Imam Hamiduddin Farahi combining this with a deep understanding of the Arabic language and startlingly original and independent insights.Islahi died in Lahore in 1997.:thumbs_up
