greetings and salamat to all you brilliant creative folks out there :D

I have a question about stain glass art, no I am not looking for a new hobby, but have been looking on the web on how they exactly 'stain' the glass and my searches have come up empty.
my question really to cut this short, I like collecting stain glass lamps, one recent purchase I made appropriately entitled 'the rose garden', has more garden than rose and in turn casts an unforgiving green light where soft light should be.. I can't take it back because it is a hassel, but decided to purchase this instead

so my question is, is there a special technique or do i just dip the brush in the paint and go over all that green glass with white and just wait for it to dry?
do please advise

thanks in advance
