– Some 120 people, including women and children, embraced Islam in the African country of Benin, thanks to the efforts of Al Huda Center in Parakou, an affiliate of the African Muslims Committee. The center organized a four-day Da'awa caravan titled "Muslim women: a partner in Da'awa work,' that toured three major cities and their neighboring villages.
Women officials of the Islamic Federation of Borgou also actively participated in making the caravan a great success through carrying out Da'awa work among women in these cities and villages. All these resulted in embracing of Islam by 120 people.
Also 85 people, including 58 women, embraced Islam in the Indian Ocean island nation of Madagascar. The new converts were people of a village called Ansarari, including its king.
