Assalamu Alaikum,

i have raed several books to improve my knowledge, specially in Islam.
i feel i have to read more and more though im busy. and i want to know the current situation of Muslom umma, islamic cicivilization, history , General knowledge etc...

im studying in the field of ICT( information and communication tachnology).
i can read in English and Tamil

So, pls my dear friends, let me know any books u feel its important to read for a Muslim to improve his knowledge and to take closer to ALLAH.
or give me some important links to improve my knowledge
