I made an mp3 cd but the files got messed up. Is there a way to get the mp3 files to stay in the order that you want? I have already named them from 1.mp3- 178.mp3, but when i burned the cd it mixed all of them up.Any suggestion please?

Er, maybe it goes in alphabet order? If not, it might have it's own order (like length of mp3 and such) or it could be totally random.

what burning software are you using bro?
Anywho if worse comes to worse you can borrow soemthing from Brother Muezzin's Audio library. He's got so many cd's from Mozart to Kermit the frog's "it's not easy being green", but he won't let you borrow his favourite though -

Salaam, I think there is no way of keeping the order of the mp3 files that you are burning to cd...

Salaam.

Rename the files. The computer doesn't reconise 1 as the first. Try 01, 02, 03 etc.

use the format

001.mp3
002.mp3
.........
nnn.mp3

Where nnn represents the number of the last track

if you have tracks in the 1000's then use 0001

I have assumed here that your cd burner is configured to start burning from the first track till the last...

hope that hepls out

otherwise ull have to burn them one track at a time
