I wrote this a while ago. i think theres a political point to be
made here.
(mabe i shud send it to blair?)

The daily war

watch the tears as they slowly flow
cascading down slowly. slow.
look at all the people who kno
and ignore the pain that verily shows

watch the eyes as they cry their tears
surely the gaze stares in fear
and who has the courage to go near
to find out what is hurting them here?

watch the hands as they clasp, pray
"ya Allah please save us from them one day,
no more pain, torture, to come our way
please help us to take these monsters away"

watch the feet as they run
trying to escape those who come
destroy houses, towns and sons
those who invade with their thousand guns

hear a voice as it screams
"leave this place of broken dreams"
but this shall never happen it seems
khufar desperately succomb to satans means

hear the screams of artillery
as it cuts through the air heavily
shot after shot sent verily
to prevent us continuing merrily

the blood as it hits the floor
from brother to brother it surely poors
this the result of all of these wars
to stop us from striving in Allah's cause

now reflect on this. what do we think?
IRAQ, CHECHNYA,PALESTINE, think
all kill our brothers and sisters, think,
they think they solve the hardship, think
they tear our worlds apart, think
will there ever be kalifah wen khufar dont think?

i apologise for the negativity during this blessed month!
