ALLAH IS GREATEST

When we are leaving this world for the next one, it shall be like a
trip to another country.

Where details of that country won't be found in glamorous travel
brochures but in the Holy Qura'an and the Hadiths.

Where our plane won't be Indian Air Lines, British Airways,Gulf Air
or
Emirates, but Air Janazah.

Where our luggage won't be the allowed 30 Kgs, but our deeds no matter
how heavy they weigh.

You don't pay for excess luggage. They are carried free of charge,
with your Creator's compliment.

Where our dress won't be a Pierre Cardin suit or the like but the
white cotton shroud.

Where our perfume won't be Channel, Paco Rabane, but the camphor and
attar.

Where our passports won't be Indian, British, French or American but
Al Islam.

Where our visa won't be the 6 months leave to stay or else, but, The
"La Ilaha Illallah".

Where the airhostess won't be a gorgeous female, but Isra'iil and its
like.

Where the in-flight services won't be 1st class or economy but a
piece
of beautifully scented or foul smelling cloth.

Where our place of destination won't be Heathrow Terminal 1 or Jeddah
International Terminal but the last Terminal Graveyard.

Where our waiting lounge won't be nice carpeted and air-conditioned
rooms but the 6 feet deep gloomy Qabr.

Where the Immigration Officer won't be His Majesty's officers, but
Munkar and Nakeer.

They only check out whether you deserve the place you yearn to go.

Where there is no need for Customs Officers or detectors.

Where the transit airport will be Al Barzakh.

Where our final place of destination will be either the Garden under
which rivers flow or the Hellfire.

This trip does not come with a price tag. It is free of charge, So
your savings would not come handy.

This flight can never be hijacked so do not worry about terrorists.

Food won't be served on this flight so do not worry about your
allergies or whether the food is Halal.

Do not worry about legroom; you won't need it, as your legs will
become things of the past.

Do not worry about delays. This flight is always punctual. It arrives
and leaves on time.

Do not worry about the in-flight entertainment program because You
would have lost all your sense of joy.

Do not worry about booking this trip, it has already been
booked, the day you became a fetus in your mother's womb.

Ah! At last good news! Do not worry about who will be sitting next to
you.

You will have the luxury of being the only passenger. So enjoy it
while you can. If only you can!

One small snag though, this trip comes with no warning.

Are you prepared.....you better be !

Please spread the truth and Insha-Alla! h our Muslim brothers & sister are able to understand and practice the guiding principles, what ever way they can afford to uphold our believe of our Islam religion this world and hereafter.

THE MEANING OF LOVE (MAHABBAH)

How many people, men and women in our time seek to fill an emptiness within themselves with a love based upon an attachment to something or someone within the creation???:? .

"Allaah - the Most Hiqh - has placed in everyone that He has created, a heart which must be filled; either with submission and servitude to Allaah, or submission and servitude to something other than Allaah. Every single heart has feelings, desires and inclinations.

The question then is:
Will those feelings, desires and inclinations be directed towards Allaah alone, or will they be directed to something other than Allaah?

Only the former truly being the subjugation and servitude of the heart to Allaah.

The 'uboodiyyah of the heart to things other than Allaah are many.

Sometimes it is submission and servitude to money:enough!: :uuh:
sometimes to power and position, :uuh:
sometimes to women :sister: or men :brother:
other such things people covet very much.

However, whatever they covet can either lessen their submission and worship of Allaah, or completely nullify it!

['Enslavement of the Heart' by Sheikh Sulayman as-Sulaymee: al-Ibanah Issue No.1 1415]

So the first and foremost source of the peace and contentment that they are searching for within their lives- can only come from their love of Allah, and the attachment to everyone and everything that that love requires and demands of them.

Abu Bakr al-Kataanee said:

A discussion about love (mahabbah) took place in Makkah, during pilgrimage season. The Shaykhs who were present spoke about this topic, and al-junayd being the youngest of them. They said to him:

What do you say, 0h 'Iraaqee? So al-Junayd lowered his head and tears were gushing from his eyes, then he said:

“A servant should overcome his soul, And be continuous in the remembrance of his Lord, Establishing the rights of his Lord, Focusing upon Him with his heart, The light of fear setting ablaze his heart, Wilst drinking from the vessel of pure love, And certain hidden realities being unveiled for him. So when he talks, it is due to Allah, When he speaks, it is from Allah, When he moves, it is by the Command of Allah, And when he is serene, then it is from Allah, He belongs to Allaah, is for Allah and is with Allah.”

Upon hearing this, the Shaykhs all started weeping, and they said:

"There is nothing left to add to that, may Allaah reward you 0h Crown of the Knowledgeable Ones."

The test of True Love.... In Fath ul-Majeed Sharh Kitaab at-Tawheed (pp.470-473) Shaykh 'Abdur-Rahmaan ibn Hasan said:
"Allaah - the Most High - says:
'Say: If you do love Allaah, follow me, and Allaah will love you.'[Soorah Aal-'Imraan 3:31]

This aayah is also known as Ayaatul-Mababbah (the aayab about love). Some of the Salaf (pious predecessors) have said: "The people claimed that they loved Allaah, so Allaah - the Most High - revealed the ayaah about mahabbah (love): "

Say: If you do love Allaah, follow me, and Allaah will love you."."
[al-Hasan al-Basree, reported in Tafseer Ibn Katheer (1/366)]

So this aayah indicates the proofs and evidences for love (mahabbah), and its fruits and its benefits. So from the proofs of love (mahabbah) and its clear signs is: to follow the Messenger [sall'Allahu aleihi wa salam]; and from its fruits and its benefits is: that Allaah will love you.

So who-so-ever does not seek to follow the Prophet [sall'Allahu aleihi wa salam], then such a person will not attain the love of Allaah."

So only question that remains is how can we find or develop this true love? Ibn al-Qayyim (rahim'ullaah) says:

"The reasons which cause mahabbah (love) of Allaah to develop, are ten:

1. Reciting the Qur'aan, reflecting and understanding its meaning and its intent.

2. Drawing closer to Allaah - the Most High - through optional deeds, after fulfilling the obligatory duties.

3. Being continuous in the dhikr (remembrance) of Allaah, with the tongue, the heart and the limbs - under all circumstances. The more constant the dhikr, the more love develops and intensifies.

4.Giving precedence to what Allaah loves over personal loves, when being overcome by desires.

5. Recognizing and remembering the favors and bounties of Allaah both the manifest and hidden.

6.To be humble and submissive before Allaah - and this is the greatest matter.

7. To be in seclusion reciting the Qur'an, during that time in which Allaah descends to the lowest heaven (which is the last third of every night), finishing this recitation with seeking Allaah's forgiveness andrepenting to Him.

9. sit in the gatherings of the true and sincere lovers of Allaah, reaping the fruits of their speech, and not to speak except if there is benefit in it and that you know that such talk will increase you in goodness and that it will benefit others as well.

10. o stay clear of all those causes which distances the heart from Allaah - the Mighty and Majestic.

So these are the ten reasons which cause the person to develop true love for Allaah and to reach the rank of al-mahabbah, by which he reaches his Beloved." [Madaarijus-Saalikeen (3/17-18).]

So dear brothers:brother: & sisters:sister:, hold fast to these ten! Implement them, call to them, weave them into the fabric of your lives- and insh'Allah you will come to know the meaning of 'true love'.

May Allah(Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) purify for us our intentions,
increase our wisdom and knowledge,
and grant us the good from His endless bounty
both in this life and the hereafter. ..Ameen
