ok I have seen this feature on a lot of professional "design and flash" forums. And I think its really a good idea.

A small thread or section entitled "Test Area" or "Chit Chat"

In there people can test their signatures or avatars by making a post or just hold general conversations which dont fit in anywhere else.

Just thought I would mention it
