Greetings and peace to you all,

Peace on Earth is a prize worth striving for and If anyone goes please can you take lots of notes and post the good bits on here afterwards.

I would be very interested to hear of any interfaith movements if they are mentioned.

In the spirit of thanking you in advance.

I am one of the fortunate 15000 who will be attending the event. Ahh cant wait to return to my old stomping ground……..good old east London!

The last big event I went to was the ‘Night of Remembrance’ held by Yusuf Islam in Royal Albert Hall………that venue was awesome! ………………….but I reckon this event is definitely gonna top it off………….cant wait to hear Dr Zakir Naik live.:enough!:

Just wondering..............Excel centre does have parking facility right?

most of the people who got the cheap seats took over the main VIP seats :p lol.

its funny cz the presenters gota keep remindin the people to get to their proper seats.

but its a better event than i expected.. the speeches arent too long so its short and simple - to the point masha Allaah.

Assalamu alaikum

Allahul musta'an, I got a chance to watch part of it online. I was really dissapointed, no segregation, brother and sisters sitting together laughing, cheering, whistling, clapping, chanting, singing, shrieking.

And also, they were clapping to the adhaan??

For those who still think there is some benefit from attending events such as these, think twice before making excuses for such apalling events.

May Allah guide us all.

Ps. Remember, A sin with good intentions is still a sin

Zakir Naik was the main one who talked mostly about islam, others were involved in politics

also was it be or the seating was sooo crap, i mean bros and sis were sitting together even prayed in same room...dont think thats islamical

You're right that the event was political. There were modern-day political heavyweights just continuosly dissing each other. Appearantly, it was supposed to be global peace & unity. Not what some of the speakers said.

There was also a lot of bad stuff, ie clapping, freemixing etc.
