Salam alaikum

Just wanted to alert the members of this board that there is a hacker running around hacking only Islamic boards. 3 Boards have already been hacked, one of them had to completely close down!

All boards have reported "suspicious member names" and "suspicious advertising activities" reported on their last days before being hacked.

So Insha'Allah keep your eyes wide open for any sort of suspicious names or posts appearing on your forum.

Two reported incidents:

CONTENT REMOVED (they were able to recover using a backup database)

and

CONTENT REMOVED (this poor guy got hacked twice!)

Third one is closed down

May Allah protect the Muslimeen against the kuffar and their wickedness ameen.

Take Care and be well,
Br Aku

Jazkhallah Khairun for letting us know. I'm almost positive we will be extra vigilant when it comes down to this inshaAllah.

On one islamic site a man hacked into the sisters section and those sisters had posted pics of them selves up without hijab.. It was the worst thing. He then went boasting around about how he got into... Subhanallah.. So just some advice for the sisters Inshallah.. What ever u do, Dont post a pic up of ur self.

It best for sisters to be very vigilant and not just show their pictures freely. Hence that applies to brothers aswell.

well i dont know much about hacking and things but it seems that one of the hacking attacks was being discussed in detail in the home forum and it turns out that it was the host servers fault, they were running scripts on their server which compromises the security of all their account holders. But now that they discovered it, they have resolved it they say.
